Please Help by Donating Food

(To check what we are particularly short of please see our home page).

Things we regularly use include:

  • Tinned Food (tinned meat, fish, vegetables, soups and puddings)
  • Pasta
  • Jars of Pasta Sauce
  • Instant mashed potato
  • Rice
  • Breakfast Cereal
  • UHT Milk
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Biscuits
  • Snacks

If you are donating sanitary products then "regular" products are more useful than "Super plus".

Where to donate

The Michael Church on Lowedges Road, Mondays 10.30am-11.30am (NOT ON BANK HOLIDAY MONDAYS)

This is the only time to drop food off at the foodbank at present.  We don't currently have any capacity to meet people at other times. Please don't leave food outside if nobody is in.
Please DON'T bring food to the office address because there's nobody working from there at the moment.

We have a permanent collecting box at Sainsbury's Archer Road and a trolley that we share with Gleadless Valley Foodbank.  There is a collection point in Tesco on Abbeydale Road for Trussell Trust foodbanks.
