We're happy that you have found us on the internet!
Before we start we should make sure that you are looking at the right website. We help people in the S8 and S17 postcodes and close surrounding areas. If you're in another part of Sheffield then there might be a foodbank closer to you. You can find out here.
Before we can help you we need someone who knows you to contact us on your behalf. This is called a referral - it helps us work out how best we can help you.

If you're really stuck then do get in touch - we don't bite and will try to help you if we can! We will try to suggest who you might contact to get a referral.
We accept referrals from a very wide range of organisations both statutory or in the community/voluntary sector.
You can refer to us if :-
It doesn't matter whether you are a local organisation or a local branch of a national organisation - please do get in touch and we till try our best to help your clients.
Please note that we DON'T operate a voucher based referral system and that the office address is NOT the address from which we distribute food parcels. The best way to refer to us is by email. You can download a copy of our referral form here and then email it to referralsATgracefoodbanksheffield.org.uk., or you can use the form as a template and put the information in the body of the email. PLEASE confirm that you have the client's consent to make the referral and to pass on their detials to us, Or you can refer by phone to 07580516512.
Once you have made the referral we will contact the client to arrange for them to collect their food. We can provide Halal bags and bags suitable for special diets (e.g. vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free). Please let us know if you are referring someone who has particular dietary needs.
Please note that we will try to deliver to clients who genuinely can't collect food parcels but we are a voluntary organisation, we have limited capacity and and we can't guarantee that a delivery will be possible. We always encouracge clients to collect food themselves whenever possible because of the extra items that are available at foodbank sessions.
